Keybow credentials are Top Class - a dual Group 1 Winner (Perth and Brisbane Cup), Group 3 Silver Bullet and multiple group place getter and finalist which included a second in the Australian Cup and a third in the Melbourne Cup. He has also equalled the TR at Ipswich over 431 (Stewards Trial). With a strike rate of 47 per cent a place rate of 75 percent, 14 BON and winner at 8 different tracks he is undisputedly a champion. Keybows lineage is as spectacular as his racing credentials with proven sire and dam lines however IMO the strength of the sire is the power of the dam.Bogie Bullet is the 2018 UBET Group 1 Adelaide Gold Cup Runner Up. Her run was sensational, she was relentless and only needed a little more distance to close out the race. Regardless she still defeated some seriously top-class performers in the final. BB is a multiple city class winner (A/Park and W/Park) boasting 9 wins and 16 places from 37 Starts, amassing over $46k in prizemoney. She was such a competitor that she recorded five straight 2nd places at Angle Park and in her career finished in the first four 78 percent of the time. She had sensational early speed and her ability to run a very strong 500+ metres is proven.
BB is impeccably bred – her Dam (Bogie Beltah) was a Group 1 and 2 finalist and multiple city class winner (A/Park, Sandown and W/Park). Her grand dam (Bogie Skye) was a city class winner (A/Park) who went on to produce 9 group dogs who won 3 Grp 1’s, 3 Grp 2’s, were placed once in a Grp 1 and 3 and were finalists in 6 Grp 1’s, 2 Grp 2’s and 12 Grp 3 events. In fact 30 percent of her litters went on to be Group performers alone and all but one of those Group dogs was out of Collision and his son High Earner, both of whom have a strong Malawi Prince influence. An amazing statistic and very interesting nick.
The dam sire of Bogie Skye is Surf Lorian. This cross between BB and Keybow reinforces that line through a double cross to Big Daddy Cool (half-brother of Surf Lorian). BDC was a previous TR holder at the Meadows and half-brother to speedster Brett Lee which serves to reinforce potential speed in the lines. There is also a cross duplication to Black Shiraz (prolific champion producer), Placard (multiple Group Winner), Sobbing Sal (Group Finalist and dam of Brett Lee and BDC) and further back 6 crosses to Malawi Prince (previous TR holder and Champion Sire / Dam Sire) which as stated reinforces the potential nick in this mating. IMO this mating observes two top class performers, both with long lines of proven sires and dams, a reinforcement of a proven nick which provides for an exciting cross.
There were 9 pups whelped on 26 May 2021 consisting of 7 dogs and 2 bitches. I have presold 4 so there are 5 being offered for sale (4 Dogs / 1 Bitch). Dogs of such calibre are rarely on offer.
